GSB-88 Receives the Nation's First Environmental Product Declaration!

To truly measure a products impact on the environment you must measure all the elements that go into it from cradle to grave. GSB-88 was recently submitted to a rigorous and complete Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conducted in accordance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines and qualifications which examines products to determine if they are truly green. With high scores in every category, GSB-88 received the ultimate reward, an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). No other asphalt product or seal coat of any kind has ever been subjected to this intense and comprehensive process! Instead of casually calling a product "Green", this academically rigorous, internationally accepted evaluation process includes all three phases of a product life cycle. The three phases include the environmental impact measured by eight evaluation criteria being applied to: 1) each component of the product, 2) the actual use of the product, and 3) the eventual recycling of the product.
